Love lost, Love found

Love lost, Love found is a body of work created in a week long residency through Global Street Art in London. The work is a response to my feelings and emotions towards the Christchurch terror attack in 2019, where 51 Muslims lost their lives in a horrific terrorist attack. Residing in London and watching these events unfold took a huge mental and emotional toll on me.

This was the first body of work that required honesty and vulnerability; as a graffiti writer, it is very easy to build a callous like ego and palm off the worlds problems. This series was the beginning of my personal journey of self discovery and rebuilding and would later pave the way for self reflection and owning my identity.
