In 2022 I became a father, a guardian of another human and a witness to motherhood. The bond between mother and child is a privilege to be a part of, from the moment they are conceived, brought in to this world and nurtured; it reminds us of the miraculous life events we sometimes take for granted.

This body of work is a display of my observation and adoration towards motherhood, a private collection of works dedicated to my family. These works were on display for one evening only, with a private invite list that consisted of only my partner and daughter. I wanted to create a body of work that was a dedication to my appreciation of her work as a mother, and I felt the only people that needed to see this work was herself and my daughter.
